Marianne Gunther is a New York State- licensed creative art psychotherapist in private practice in New York City. In addition to maintaining her private practice since 1999, Marianne has worked in a variety of settings; Inpatient medical detoxification unit, adult inpatient psychiatric units, bereavement group facilitator at A Caring Hand: The Billy Esposito Foundation; and children’s bereavement specialist for MJHS Hospice & Palliative Care. She currently serves as President on the board of the New York Art Therapy Association. Marianne received her B.F.A. from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Tufts University, Boston, her Masters in art therapy from Pratt Institute and most recently completed a two year certificate in Contemplative Science and Psychotherapy from the Nalanda Institute in May 2018.
